About Pine Ridge Vineyards
Pine Ridge was founded in 1978 in the Stags Leap District, established just two years after the 1976 Paris Tasting put the district on the global map. The winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon from five Napa AVAs — Stags Leap, Oakville, Rutherford, Howell Mountain, and Carneros — along with Chenin Blanc + Viognier (their popular white blend) and a Cave Collection of reserve wines.

The Cave Experience
Pine Ridge features wine caves carved into the hillside — a hands-on tour that adds dimension to the tasting. Groups that enjoy the behind-the-scenes experience will get more out of Pine Ridge than a standard sit-down tasting room.

The Stags Leap District AVA produces Cabernet known for its silky tannins and dark fruit — often called the “Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove” for the balance of power and elegance. Pine Ridge, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, and Darioush are all within a few miles of each other on the Silverado Trail — Champion Limo knows this stretch well.
