About Inglenook Winery

Inglenook was founded in 1879 by Finnish sea captain Gustave Niebaum, who set out to create a world-class wine estate in Rutherford. At its peak in the late 19th century, Inglenook was considered one of the finest wineries in the world. After decades of decline under various owners, Francis Ford Coppola purchased and restored the estate, reclaiming the Inglenook name in 2011.

Today Inglenook produces Rubicon — the flagship estate Cabernet blend — along with Blancaneaux (white Rhône-style blend), Edizione Pennino Zinfandel, and other estate wines.
